"Vista Capable" lawsuit is now a class action

The lawsuit against Microsoft rises from the 2006 pre-holiday season when they used "Windows Vista Capable" stickers to boost sales of machines loaded with Windows XP. It turns out that many of the machines could only function with the stripped down Home Basic edition of Vista. If your organization got stung by the "Windows Vista Capable" campaign, watch for an opportunity to make a claim if the class action ever succeeds.
